"I am 67. Women started writing to us after their surgery asking for something they could simply pull on. So we made the pockets deep, the seams flat, and took away every single thing that clasps."

Why This Is Not A Mastectomy Bra

A mastectomy bra is still a bra. A band, a clasp, a fitting appointment, and something else to replace every few months. This is a tank top. You pull it on.
  • - The pockets are sewn into the tank itself, so there is no separate bra to buy or fit
  • - No hooks behind your back, which matters while a shoulder or an arm is still recovering
  • - It covers shoulder to hip, so no band line crosses a chest that is already sore
  • - Wear it as your top, or under everything else, the same as any other tank

Most women tell us the real difference is that they stop planning their outfit around it.

Left, a woman in a post-surgical compression bra after a mastectomy. Right, the same woman wearing the comfort tank.

The Part Nobody Prepares You For

The surgery gets talked about. The recovery gets talked about. What does not get talked about is the wardrobe you are left with afterwards, and the ten minutes every morning spent working out what sits right today. Something shifts. Something rubs. Something shows. So you reach for the same dark jumper again. This tank was made after enough women wrote to us describing exactly that morning.

Designed For Life After Surgery

Four things we changed, and why each one matters once you have been through it.

Most tanks with a built-in bra are made for a body that has not been operated on. The support pulls tight under the chest, the pads are stitched down, and there is nowhere to put a form. We started from the other end.

Nothing clasps. Nothing digs. Nothing needs adjusting in a changing room. It is the feeling of getting dressed without being reminded.

What Is Actually Different, Piece By Piece

1

Twin Inner Pockets

A pocket sewn into the lining on each side, deep enough to hold a silicone form or a lightweight softie without it riding up when you reach or lift your arms.

2

Removable Shaping Pads

Slide them out and put your own form in, or leave them in for a soft natural shape on the days you would rather not think about it. Your call, every morning.

3

Nothing That Presses

No wire, no clasp, no elastic band. The support is spread across the whole tank instead of pulled tight underneath, so nothing rests on scar tissue or a port site.

4

Shoulder To Hip Coverage

It runs the full length of your body. That is what evens out the line under a shirt when one side no longer matches the other.

And Here's Why Nothing Else Quite Worked

Mastectomy Bras

They do the job, but they are still a bra. A band, a clasp and a fitting appointment. Most women own two and dread the day both are in the wash.

A Softie Tucked Into A Normal Bra

It shifts. So you spend the day quietly checking, and checking is the part that wears you down.

Post-Surgery Camisoles

Built for the first few weeks and the drains. Once those are out, so is the reason to keep wearing it.

Going Without

Comfortable at home. Less comfortable the moment you catch your reflection somewhere you were not expecting to.

How It Compares

Not all of them were built for a body that has been through surgery.

Your New Morning Routine

1

Pull it on

Over your head, like any tank top. No reaching behind your back, no hooks to line up.

2

Form in, or not

Both pockets are right there. Some mornings you will want them filled, some mornings you will not. Neither needs explaining.

3

Get on with your day

Nothing to adjust, nothing riding up, and nothing to check in the next shop window you pass.

Questions Women Ask Us

If yours is not here, write to us and a real person will answer.

Will it actually hold my prosthesis?
Yes. There is a pocket sewn into the lining on each side, deep enough for a silicone form or a lightweight softie. It sits against your body rather than hanging off a band, so it stays put when you reach, bend or lift your arms.
I only had one side removed. Does that work?
That is what the shaping pads are for. Leave the pad in on one side, put your form in the other, and the outside line reads the same on both. Several customers wear it exactly this way.
Can I wear it straight after surgery?
Ask your surgeon or your breast care nurse first, and follow what they tell you. Many women wait until their drains are out and the wounds have closed. We would rather you wore it a fortnight later than a fortnight too early.
I have had radiation and my skin is sensitive.
The inside is smooth with flat seams and there is no wire, no hook and no elastic band. We cannot tell you how your own skin will react, so check with your care team if you are unsure.
What if I want to wear it with nothing in it?
Then wear it with nothing in it. The pads give a soft natural shape on their own. Plenty of mornings that is all anybody wants.
Which size should I take?
Go by the size chart on this page rather than your old bra size. If you are between two, take the larger one. The tank should feel like it is holding you, not gripping you.
What if the fit is wrong?
You have 90 days. Tell us and we send you another size free of charge, and you keep the first one until the new one arrives.

We make clothing, not medical devices. Nothing on this page is medical advice, and your surgeon or breast care nurse should always have the last word on what you wear and when.

Getting Dressed Should Not Be The Hardest Part Of Your Day.

No more checking yourself in shop windows.

No more clasps you cannot reach.

No more band sitting exactly where it hurts.

No more planning the whole outfit around one garment.

One tank. Pull it on. Get on with your day.

Held, even, and comfortable from morning to night.
